At around 9.45am, there was already a queue of around 25 pax at Xin Mei Xiang! I thought I was early but no, 20 other people were earlier! I was not disappointed at all because at least, it was opened! It was closed every time I wanted to try it.

| S$5 - Very appetising! |
The queue was a moving one and I could see that the stall assistants were trying their best to keep it moving. When there were only 10 pax in front of me, a stall assistant came to take our orders. I ordered the S$5 portion. By the time I reached the stall, I was promptly served with a bowl of piping hot Lor Mee! It looked very appetising, with a generous amount of fish, on top of the noodles.

There was plenty of fresh tasting fish, with bits of fragrance. There was also quite a few pieces of soft, braised pork. A mouthful of noodles, egg, fish, meat and sauce, was extremely yummy. I was lost in my own Lor Mee world. My worries faded into the background.
Ho Ho Jiak! For this reason, I totally get the 20 pax queue at 9.45am.
