Sausage and Meat Kimchi Hot Pot S$40
|
Say Cheese! |
The hot pot was delicious but at S$40, I would not say that it was worth every penny. I supposed if you are willing to fork out S$40, this standard could be easily attained in other restaurants.
|
Slurps! |
Nonetheless, the soup was very rich in flavours and the hot broth as usual, was very appetising and appealing.

Instant noodles in Kimchi soup - Shiok! |
Nothing beats slurping mouthfuls of instant noodles in sour and spicy kimchi soup! I also enjoyed the addition of black fungus.
Korean Rice Wine S$25
|
Interesting! |
When the wine was served in a kettle, I was expecting it to be warm but it was served cold. The wine was very smooth and I would definitely recommend it as a drink to compliment the BBQ meat.
|
Gan Bei! |
It was fun to drink from rustic looking bowls. The kettle was not just a gimmick. It ensured that the wine was cold even after some time. Try it!

Staff cooking for us! |
We ordered an assortment of meat and it cost us around S$60. The staff offered to grill the meat for us and it might be a wrong decision because some of the meat were overcooked.

Cooked beef |
The flavours were good but the meat was a tad too tough for my liking. I definitely recommend Kim's Family restaurant if you are in the vicinity and you are craving for Korean food.
